WhatsApp is the most famous instant messaging application in the globe. Over the years, WhatsApp has continued to include new and amazing specs without compromising on ease-of-use. The Facebook owned company is now working on more new specs that are set to make the application more amazing and convenient.

Dark mode

Dark mode is one of the most anticipated specs on WhatsApp. The spec has been often spotted in beta editions of the application. The Dark Mode inverts the colours to help decrease strain on eyes, mainly after sunset. Google has already included the spec on some of its key apps including YouTube and Chrome Browser. Apple introduced system-wide Dark Mode with iOS 13. WhatsApp is also guessed to include the spec sooner or later.

Fast edit media

WhatsApp is working on a fast edit media spec. spotted in the recent beta edition of the application, the spec permits users to make changes to media files received or sent. Note the spec is different from the existing edit instruments that WhatsApp provides. According to WaBetaInfo, a site that checks the new changes to WhatsApp, users can edit the media in-chat and share directly.

More forwarded info

The firm is now going to better this spec by including a "frequently forwarded" label. WhatsApp is also working on a latest spec that will tell how many times a message has been forwarded. The spec is guessed to be part of the info section which tells when the message was delivered and when it was read.

Hide muted status

This spec does not fully block a contact just hide from the status feed. Right now, even if you mute a status, a faded edition emerges at the bottom of the feet. The firm is reportedly improving the spec by removing the muted status feed altogether.

QR code

WhatsApp is working on a QR code shortcut on its beta application for Android. This is anyway not visible for WhatsApp beta users as yet. There is also no word on whether WhatsApp will launch it in the future. The tweet also presents a screenshot of the QR code spec on WhatsApp which just says "scan, share QR code.
QR code on WhatsApp is work like nametag on Instagram. Each users will get a special QR code for their whatsApp account. Once you can scan the QR code of another contact they will be included to your WhatsApp contact list. This spec will be essential for users to include fast contacts on WhatsApp. Users will also be permitted to remove QR code if they do not need it.
